Honor 600

The Honor 600 is a genuine contender in the upper mid-range, and frankly, it often feels like it's punching above its weight. For $470, you’re getting a device that delivers on so many fronts. The display is a stunner – bright, smooth thanks to that 120Hz OLED, and the Pantone validation for color accuracy is no gimmick; it’s a tangible benefit for anyone who cares about how their photos and videos actually look. The dual camera setup, lauded by critics, captures detail that’s genuinely impressive for this segment, and the battery life is the kind of dependable workhorse you’ll appreciate throughout a busy day. It’s a well-built, stylish package that justifies its price tag, offering a premium experience without demanding flagship money.

However, no device is perfect, and you need to be aware of the Honor 600's rough edges. While the hardware is largely excellent, the software isn't quite there yet. Reports of frustrating bugs and a questionable decision around the always-on display suggest Honor still has some tuning to do. If you're someone who prioritizes a completely polished software experience and can't tolerate the occasional glitch, you might want to proceed with caution. But if you're willing to overlook some software quirks for a device that otherwise excels in display quality, camera performance, and battery endurance, the Honor 600 is a compelling choice that pushes the boundaries of what we expect from a mid-ranger.
