Our Take
SS
The Honor Magic 7 Pro arrives with a hefty $990 price tag, positioning it squarely in the premium segment. And make no mistake, Honor has packed in some serious firepower. The camera system, particularly the new telephoto lens, is genuinely impressive, and the AI smarts are clearly a focus. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 ensures buttery smooth performance, and the build quality is undeniably top-tier. However, as some of our colleagues have pointed out, this isn't a seismic leap forward. If you're coming from last year's model, the upgrades, while welcome, might feel incremental. It hits all the right hardware notes, no question, but there are a few minor software stumbles that keep it from absolute perfection.
So, is the Magic 7 Pro worth your hard-earned cash? For the enthusiast who demands cutting-edge camera tech and raw power, it’s absolutely a contender, easily ranking among the best Android devices available. But for the average user, or even those upgrading from a recent flagship, the question becomes how much do you value those specific advancements over the cost. It’s a refined piece of hardware with a truly capable camera, but it doesn't redefine the smartphone landscape. Consider it a strong evolution, not a revolution, and decide if that’s enough for your $990.
