Our Take
SS
The Xiaomi 15T lands squarely in the mid-range with a $549 price tag, and frankly, it punches well above its weight. For those of you who are tired of flagship pretenders or simply want a device that excels at the essentials without breaking the bank, this is a compelling option. TechRadar and Notebookcheck aren't wrong; this phone delivers an upper mid-range experience for a price that makes you question what other manufacturers are doing. The display is a standout, easily visible even in bright sunlight, and the battery life is robust enough to see you through even your longest days – a crucial win for everyday usability. If photography is a priority but you're not chasing professional-grade shots, PhotoBohemian’s assessment is spot on: the 15T offers solid photographic quality that will satisfy most users.
However, let's be clear: the Xiaomi 15T isn't a perfectly balanced device, as GadgetByte Nepal points out. While its MediaTek Dimensity 8400 Ultra and 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM provide excellent performance for the price, allowing for smooth daily operation and even some demanding gaming, don't expect it to be the absolute best in every single category. It prioritizes key areas that matter most to the average user – a great screen and a battery that won't quit. For the buyer who understands this trade-off and values performance and core functionality over niche flagship features, the Xiaomi 15T represents exceptional value and a smart, no-nonsense choice in a crowded market.

Xiaomi 15T review - Price drop makes this Android smartphone the best deal
“Xiaomi 15T review | The new Xiaomi 15T is a premium mid-range phone with Leica cameras and a fast OLED panel. With high-quality features, strong performance and a now significantly lower price, the Android smartphone is an attractive choice for those looking to save money. Read the Notebookcheck test report to find out whether it is worth buying the Xiaomi phone in 2025 at the current price of 400 euros.”
