Our Take
SS
For $220, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ aims to punch well above its weight, and for the most part, it succeeds. The curved AMOLED display, a rarity at this price point, is genuinely impressive, offering vibrant colors and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate that makes everyday interactions a pleasure. Coupled with a promising 108MP camera that Notebookcheck found to have decent low-light chops and a Helio G99 Ultimate chipset that delivers solid performance, this phone tackles its core functions with competence. You're getting a lot of screen and camera for your money here, and the inclusion of 256GB of storage out of the box is a welcome bonus that means you won't be scrambling for space anytime soon.
However, let's be clear: this is still a budget device. While the design may mimic premium offerings, the plastic build is a constant reminder of its price bracket. The IP53 rating offers minimal protection, so treating this phone with care is paramount. The 4G connectivity, while perfectly adequate for most, might feel a step behind the curve for those craving the latest network speeds. Ultimately, the Tecno Spark 20 Pro+ is a compelling option for the value-conscious buyer who prioritizes a great display and a capable camera in a stylish package, but temper your expectations regarding build resilience and cutting-edge features. It's a smart buy if you understand its limitations.
